Sprouting Heritage

With Newfoundland grown seeds.

Thanks for visiting my store!

I harvest seeds from wildflower species, native and naturalized. Species enjoyable by both us and our native bees, insects and pollinators.

In addition to selling seeds, I encourage people to plant native flower species in and around their gardens, to help restore native biodiversity - while keeping a beautiful look without having to plant invasive species.

How did this all begin? It started with me collecting seeds for a few years; wildflowers, vegetables, herbs, and unique plants.
Inspired by a post on Facebook in a Newfoundland & Labrador gardening group, asking small business owners, craft makers, and local sellers of small products, to advertise what they have for sale.

I would sell seeds from common, yet attractive flowers, and eventually wildflower mixes. These mixes turned very popular and I was encouraged to harvest more, and more gradually through the first few years, and I'm proud to now start a website to be able to easily sell Newfoundland's most favourite wildflowers, far and wide.
